RESULTS
1:25/1:27/1:25/1:25/1:25/1:23
All rounds done at 92BPM. Last week I had the metronome set at 94BPM and that's why I fell off so early. I decided not to increase the BPM this time so that I could focus just on this pace. The entire workout I simply focused on the beat and nothing else--STAY ON THE BEAT. The only other thing I paid attention to was tension in my foot as it came off the ground. I catch myself sometimes not having a relaxed foot when I lift it off the ground. Paying attention to tension in the foot has helped me keep it relaxed even at the higher paces.
It was pretty hot and humid today, which made the workout even tougher. But I wanted to make up for last week since I only made it through 4. I'm a few seconds slow that what I would like to be, but I think that is because of yesterday's WOD. I'm still feeling the heavy deadlifts from yesterday, especially my back. I could feel a little strain in my back during the back stretch of the run as I tried to lean and keep my midline stable. I just had to suck it up and give in to the lean and not fight it so much. I just have to lean like a smooth criminal.
