I'm a little disappointed that I couldn't do all 6 intervals, but I'm glad I stopped because continuing on wouldn't provide any benefit. I obviously started too fast and couldn't maintain that pace throughout. My legs are also jello from this week's WODs, so overcoming the soreness was battle number one. This was also my first workout where I was running off of a rest deficit--1:20 to complete, but only 1min rest; 20s deficit. Last week I had a 1:10 rest since my intervals were 1:20 and we had 90s rest. This rest deficit is definitely something I need to continue, since it teaches you to maintain a fast pace with little rest. My goal for next week is to get all 6 intervals at 1:20. I guess that means I need to start slower, maybe 92 BPM instead of 94 BPM, which I fell off from.
