RESULTS
Skill: Skipped the skill to focus on WOD 11.5.
WOD:
7 rounds + 13 WBS--2 reps short of my goal.
I went into this WOD thinking "8 rounds for time". I didn't find my pace until round 4 or 5. The first round was way too fast, especially since I was pacing Steve. Rounds 2 and 3 I tried to recover from going out too fast. By round 4 I had settled into a nice pace. The WBS were a bit sketchy in the first few rounds, but by round 4 or 5 I had broken them into two sets of 10 and 5 to get through them. I was pretty toast by the time I finished, but I made sure I didn't lay down--I did sit down though. Part of me really wanted to scale the WBS since I tend to have a tough time with high reps, but I wanted to take on the Open WOD without scaling. It'll be interesting the next few weeks trying to figure out what portions I need to scale. I need to set ego aside and look at the long-term goal.
