This is a collection of my thoughts and observations that I've made throughout my CrossFitting career. With the growing popularity of CrossFit, new boxes are springing up everywhere but the quality of coaching is still lagging behind. This can be easily fixed by actively discussing various topics that will help improve the quality of our coaching. The goal is to improve your understanding of human movement so that you can better coach any athlete that walks through your doors.

3:52--first round wasn't too taxing. Maintained a steady pace I thought I could do for all 5 rounds.
3:59--really focused on "legs, body, arms" on the pull and "arms, body, legs" on the recovery. Legs were tired from yesterday's WOD and I could feel the burn on this round. Tried to make up distance on the last 250m. Started to tire quickly.
4:09--had to close my eyes and focus on the stroke to make it smooth. Really focused on the recovery portion and making sure I bent at the hip during the recovery before my knees bent. Legs were really burning during this round. Tried again to make up distance on the last 250m.
4:08--just like the 3rd round, I tried to close my eyes and focus on the stroke. Legs really burned and tired during this round. Pushed it hard during the last 250m to finish at about the same pace as the 3rd round.
4:12--tried to give everything I had to keep the same pace as the 3rd and 4th rounds. Legs were just too tired. Tried to focus on the stroke, but my legs were burning. Tried long strong strokes to make up distance, but had lost so much by the last 500m I couldn't get below 4:10. Legs were absolutely smoked.
