This is a collection of my thoughts and observations that I've made throughout my CrossFitting career. With the growing popularity of CrossFit, new boxes are springing up everywhere but the quality of coaching is still lagging behind. This can be easily fixed by actively discussing various topics that will help improve the quality of our coaching. The goal is to improve your understanding of human movement so that you can better coach any athlete that walks through your doors.
23:08 Rowers were upstairs, so I did the row, box jumps, and back extension, then ran downstairs for the deadlifts and then ran back upstairs to start the next round. I thought that would give me some time to recover as I climbed the stairs...didn't work out that way. Legs were jello after the row and I almost missed the first few box jumps. I just kept my head down and pushed through. I'm also trying to take a page out of Miko's playbook and try not to lie down after WODs. Some days I'm successful, like today. Other's, I'm not.
