This is a collection of my thoughts and observations that I've made throughout my CrossFitting career. With the growing popularity of CrossFit, new boxes are springing up everywhere but the quality of coaching is still lagging behind. This can be easily fixed by actively discussing various topics that will help improve the quality of our coaching. The goal is to improve your understanding of human movement so that you can better coach any athlete that walks through your doors.
5 RFT: 5 Seated Muscle Ups 10 OHS, 85# 15 Toes 2 Bar 20 GHD Sit Ups
44:59 I really need to work on my muscle ups and OHSs. I got more comfortable with my OHS as the WOD went on. First few rounds were shaky on the OHS, however, the last round I completed all OHSs unbroken. Once I break 400# on my deadlift, I'll change my programming to include strength bias training everyday. I may have to incorporate muscle up skill work as part of my warm up to replace my double under skill work. I've gotten better at double unders, but they could still use more work. Can't wait to start working out at CF Impavidus since both owners are Gymnastics certified, they should be able to help me get my technique down on my muscle ups.
Deadlift: Back was sore from the deadlifts in yesterday's WOD and tired from core stabilization during today's WOD. Weights got heavy fast and I was only able to do 2 sets.

I attempted 380, but it didn't budge and I didn't want to push myself to hard and get injured. Besides, I just finished a 45min WOD.
