Patience. We need it more. Why is it that our culture is bred on instant gratification? Microwave ovens. Drive thrus. Fast food. Minute rice. 8-minute abs. If we don't see results right away, we deem the effort a failure.
We need patience. Patience in the gym. Patience with the lift. Patience with learning the proper technique. Patience with a student. Patience with a coach. Patience with a child. Patience with a parent. Patience in a relationship.
If the results aren't immediate, it's okay. Good things come to those who wait. Be patient and when you're not paying attention, you'll be surprised at the results.
