This is a collection of my thoughts and observations that I've made throughout my CrossFitting career. With the growing popularity of CrossFit, new boxes are springing up everywhere but the quality of coaching is still lagging behind. This can be easily fixed by actively discussing various topics that will help improve the quality of our coaching. The goal is to improve your understanding of human movement so that you can better coach any athlete that walks through your doors.
10:08 @315# First round, all deadlifts were unbroken. GHDs were broken. I did the first 15 unbroken then broke the rest up in sets of 5 with a 5s break in between. The GHDs wore on my hamstrings even more, which made the deadlifts in round 2 a little harder. I broke them up into 5 sets of 2 to get through. I broke the GHDs into 6 sets of 5 with a 5s break in between. Last round I did 5/5 for the deadlifts and 15/5/5 for the GHDs. My body was conditioned to the movements for the WOD for round three, which made it easier to do fewer sets. I really wanted under 10min--maybe I shouldn't have rested so long.
