This is a collection of my thoughts and observations that I've made throughout my CrossFitting career. With the growing popularity of CrossFit, new boxes are springing up everywhere but the quality of coaching is still lagging behind. This can be easily fixed by actively discussing various topics that will help improve the quality of our coaching. The goal is to improve your understanding of human movement so that you can better coach any athlete that walks through your doors.
9:20 First round, KBS and pull ups unbroken. Pull ups almost all butterfly. Second round, KBS unbroken, pull ups broken. Arms and grip were tired. Some pull ups were butterfly, but most were regular kipping. Third round, KBS and pull ups broken. I looked up after the first 2-3 KBS and didn't see Grant, so I knew I had time. Paced myself through the remaining exercises instead of going all out. Grant finished in 9:55. I thought he had me during the first round since he was 1 KBS ahead of me, but I caught him on the pull ups.
