I'm surprised this Men's Fitness magazine actually has a good article in it. Most of the articles discuss isolation movements, cable crossovers, and pyramid sets. Not my cup of tea, but if ?those that do those types of exercises get a benefit out of doing them, more power to them. I prefer functional movements executed at high intensity to pyramid sets of incline dumbbell press for 2+ hours. But to each his own... Anyway, the good article I read was about Ryan Lochte, the guy who beat Michael Phelps in the 200-meter individual medley at the USA Swimming Nationals. You know how he did it? He added weightlifting into his training regimen, more specifically, log clean and presses, keg tosses, tire flips, and sledgehammer swings. Sound familiar?

Enough of the rant. Since I'll be traveling starting at o'dark thirty, it's a rest day. For those that really need to do a WOD, pick a Mob WOD for the morning and a different one for the afternoon.

Rest day
or
Mob WOD (morning and afternoon)
