Crossfit Games Open WOD 11.3:
Complete as many rounds and reps as possible in 5 minutes of:
Squat clean (165lb / 75kg)
Jerk (165lb / 75kg)
Squat clean (165lb / 75kg)
Jerk (165lb / 75kg)
RESULTS:
10 rounds (20 reps).
I missed 2 cleans. The very first one I missed and fell on my ass, that's what I get for not warming up. The other one I missed was near the end of the time limit. I also missed my second jerk--didn't reset my feet. And instead of just power cleaning, I was dumb and did a full squat clean. I was just in the moment that I wasn't thinking. 165 is at bodyweight for me, so it was a lot tougher than I expected. That was also the fastest 5 minutes I've ever experienced. I heard Steve yelling "40 seconds to get 2 more!" So I looked at the clock and it read "4:28" and I thought, "there's no way we've only done 30 seconds of work." Then it registered that the clock was counting up, not down. I had to get 10 rounds so I had to push the last 2 rounds out--the last jerk was horrible form, but I got it up before the buzzer.
Scaled 135 (165 is ridiculous). 10 rnds.
