So I attempted the 2011 Crossfit Games Open WOD and it was tough. I'm reluctant to post my score yet since I'm still debating whether or not to register as an athlete and compete. CF HQ also extended the deadline to submit scores until next Sunday, so I've got an opportunity to re-do the workout to see if I can get a better score.
It's good to be back home where I can throw some weight around. Traveling WODs are great for maintaining conditioning, but I prefer throwing weight around as part of my WOD.
WOD:
Burgener warm-up
3 Sets:
3 overhead squats
3 pressing snatch balances
3 heaving snatch balances
3 snatch balances
5min Rest
Three rounds for time of:
135 pound Hang power cleans, 15 reps
15 Burpees
135 pound Hang power cleans, 15 reps
15 Burpees
