Today I get a break from my 2-a-days and get to focus on my endurance. Since it's a bit chilly outside during the winter in Northern VA--yes I've become a fair weather runner these days due to getting spoiled in central California weather--I've focus on rowing as my choice of indoor endurance training. Besides, my rowing sucks and what better way to attack my weaknesses than by facing them head on.

WOD:
C2: 10 x 250m with 5 times the recovery (if it takes 45 seconds to row 250m then you recover 3:45)

Post times to comments.

So I did this WOD with a 20# vest. My legs are smoked! My fastest time was also my most inefficient movement. I realized I was breaking at the knees before my arms had reached my knees, meaning I wasn't loading my hamstrings efficiently. That may have caused the decrease in time since I tried to concentrate on form. The last 2 intervals I was hanging on for dear life--I just wanted them done and my legs were filled with lactic acid.

RESULTS:
50.2/50.6/50.7/51.0/51.0/50.5/50.0/51.0/52.2/52.4

Not sure if I should swap my front squats and shoulder press since my legs maybe too tired for a max effort front squat day tomorrow. Knowing me, I probably won't and just suck it up and do it.
